The process of selection with expert evaluators took place in the end of 2019
Gault & Millau Georgia is happy to announce that we are starting the process of adding the restaurant reviews. This means that the numbers of restaurants evaluated by Gault & Millau experts has been increased.
The process of selection took place by the end of 2019 in which number of local and international evaluators has been involved.
In general Gault & Millau evaluators are the people who are experts in culinary, who are passionate about gastronomy and have solid culinary experience and reference. Evaluators of any countries share the same core principles and values, among which independence, responsibility and integrity can be distinguished.
All the restaurants that we will be adding soon have been awarded points and toques and each who obtained minimum of 10 points will be included in Gault & Millau Guide. In the points system, 20 is the highest and high ranking restaurants may display one to five toques.
During the evaluation process, the largest share comes on food, dishes, chef’s vision and technique. The rest very little percentage of the final score comes on the criterias such as service, beverages, atmosphere, price, design etc.
